This is a great moment!
I have submitted unsquare to quite some sites, but I know that having it on html5games.com is a really great thing, since it will give LOTS of traffic.
I will also try now to contact publishers with this game.
I also thought about making a new game with nice graphics, since it seems that that's what the publishers like. Simple game play and nice graphics. I thought about making a fill-it clone, but now I think of making something better.
Also, I am thinking about using phaser.js as my library for the ludum dare.
For now, good bye.

Unsquare Status
It seems that what I have been expecting, Unsquare featuring in the clay.io promotional letter, has not happened. The reason was that there were too many games, and I didn't have enough rating and views.
Oh well, Austin Hallock of Clay.io was so nice, (again!) and he "resetted" my game so it could be featured in the next letter.
Oh, I almost forgot! I have been offline for a week because my family and I took a vacation in Puerto Plata. During that time, not much happened though. I had really few views. None the less, I had about 12 cents of revenue, because of a CPM ad scheme. Imagine if I will have even more views!

Unsquare Released!
I have published Unsquare to the Clay.io "marketplace" and now it is pending. It usually doesn't take too long before the game gets accepted.
I also have submitted a link to my game to html5games.com , which is a nice traffic source, which takes about a week to approve a game.
I also posted a link to Facebook, to get my friends to play it. I also posted a link specifically in the "2013 Lloyd Auckland Invitational Seminar" page, since I know that the people there would like logic puzzle games like Unsquare.
I am now trying to find where else I can post my game. It's interesting how all this promotion works. It's like a time bomb. There is no way to know that it will work other than waiting and hoping that you will eventually see a peak in the number of your game views.
I also hope that people will share this game and rate it well. Because that's what the popularity of a game like Unsquare comes from after all.
I am also interested in knowing if the Clay.io publisher program actually works. :) I hope my game will be featured there eventually.

Added advertisements to mobile version!
Finally!
I came back from a fishing trip over the weekend, and today, I integrated mobile ads in my game!
It took quite a while, but now it's done!
The problem was that at the moment, the clay.io api had a few bugs related to the positioning of ads, so it took quite a lot of emails between me and Austin Hallock, for him to fix all the issues. I like Austin, it seems that he is currently the soul active developer of clay.io, yet when I contact his, he usually responds in less than a day and fixes the issue. Clay.io isn't the biggest game site out there, but I'm still impressed.

A sneek preview...
I've been fighting with CSS to get a good mobile version of the game. I'm about just almost there. My version is "ok". And also, I should be thinking at where I will be putting my ads. I can't really work on it now, clay.io does not support my type of ad yet! I will use the type of ad: 320x50 from Google adsense. I asked one of the devs to add (no pun intended) it. He said he will. It's one of those things that you have to deal with when you are using a middle man and not directly adsense. I guess there are good things to that too: I don't have to worry about having to host my game and to have an adsense account. (Which I can't even have, I'm less than 18 years old!)
And finally a bonus: if you are actually really reading this blog, then you must be really interested in my development. SO here is a secret: this is my main testing URL: http://unsquareprototype3.clay.io/
I use it to test my game on mobile. Make good use of it. ;) If you have read till here, be free to TRY IT!
